Intro / Orientation to today's worship on Race and Privilege:

Comments and Supplemental Resources:

As race and privilege are difficult and hard topics, you may consider pausing and returning to this worship content. But, please do return. We are holding you in prayer as we move together in God's grace through these challenging times. We pray that the resources below will be helpful for continuing our learning and hearing the cries of our black siblings and cousins... and respond in grace.

Racism is a unique problem in the United States. Problems that reside with black community are specific to this group, with specific issues set against them (slavery, segregation). While certainly all people are created in God's image and are beloved, the black community's systematic and institutional oppressions are different from other minority groups.
