While there are many opportunities to serve through Salem, these groups dedicate themselves regularly to our community.

Sewing for Others: If you can use a needle or tie yarn, you can help make a quilt! This group works together to make quilts that are sent around the world to those that need them through Lutheran World Relief.

Free Community Dinner: On the 4th Saturday of each month (September though May), we host a free community  dinner open to the whole valley! There are many opportunities to cook, or prepare the space for this wonderful meal.

Care Team: Members of the team are dedicated to serving those who are unable to leave their homes. They pray together and then go out, bringing communion and conversation to the homebound.

Prayer Group: Each week, this group diligently gathers to pray for our community at large as well as specific prayer requests.

Family Promise: Along with other congregations in Skagit Valley, Salem hosts families who are currently without housing through the Family Promise Program. Volunteers make dinner, stay overnight, or do laundry.

Friendship House Monthly Meal: Members of this group join with Friendship House to serve a monthly meal.

Blood Drives: Salem hosts regular blood drives through Bloodworks Northwest.
